Looking forward to the update, as this doesn’t work with Gypsy currently.
On the other hand, if this can work in combination with MX Custom Field Access, then that gives me an oppportunity to convert to a more MX-centric workflow and hopefully improve administration / publishing.
Please keep us posted!
Fantastic extension. Invaluable for a project I just started that includes a weblog with 70 custom fields. Thanks!
Seems to work fine so far with one notable exception: the horizontal rules/lines that separate custom fields on the publish page are missing. They appear just fine on weblogs without custom tabs but are missing when I define custom tabs.
Curiously, for a brief moment after I load a publish page that uses MX Custom Tabs, I can see all my fields and they indeed contain horizontal rules. After about a second of time, all the fields disappear, leaving just those that are in the default Publish Form tab.
Not sure if the missing horizontal rules is solely a MX Custom Tabs issue or an extension conflict. I am running about a dozen extensions. If I get time later, I’ll try to isolate the issue.
Thanks again for all your work on this.
MX Custom Tabs 0.7.0 is avalible - new UI, Gypsy support, Custom Tabs order. Enjoy
Thanks for fast reply! Yes, jQuery is enabled.
I use Safari 4 on Mac and I get the following error re js.
TypeError: Result of expression 'jQuery("#dialog-modal").dialog' [undefined] is not a function.Seems to be what’s causes the error. I also have several other extensions installed. Could be a clash.
