Hey all - I just pushed version Analytics Panel version 1.1 to GitHub, which adds:
MSM support
member group permissions (decide which groups can display the Analytics Panel)
better password security (passwords are now base64-encoded, and never displayed to the user on the settings screen)
“yesterday” and “last month” stats are cached daily for quicker home screen load times
Thanks for all the kind words, I’m happy to see people excited about it. (Sucker for praise.)
MSM support? No way! 🐛
Update!
Ok, I have installed the extension in a 7 site MSM installation and it is working beautifully. All sites have separated credentials and stats and everything is working without even a hick-up.
Very nice work!
I sorted the stats view to the top right hand pane of the control panel home page and I’m realizing how much I like having a quick overview of what is happening on the site today. It’s even more helpful than I expected and my expectations weren’t low.
Thank you very much for a great extension! Now… I need to go review and ‘5 star it’ at devot-ee.
After I updated to 1.1 and selected the site from the choices, I get these errors in the extension’s settings page. Seems to be working otherwise:
Warning: Division by zero in /home/site/public_html/site_url.com/sys/extensions/ext.analytics_panel.php on line 618 Warning: Division by zero in /home/site/public_html/site_url.com/sys/extensions/ext.analytics_panel.php on line 623 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/site/public_html/site_url.com/sys/extensions/ext.analytics_panel.php:618) in /home/site/public_html/site_url.com/sys/core/core.functions.php on line 296
Just tried this on another website on a completely different web server (running php 5.1.6) and it worked great, first time.Glad it worked out on another server. I wonder if maybe the first server was lacking cURL and had fopen disabled? One of the two are required to authorize.
Hi D-Rock - I have similar problem as sm9. Where/How should I deal with this problem : server was lacking cURL and had fopen disabled ?
Moving to different server is not an option for me.
Thanks a lot
