yeah, someone should continue this module! this was one of the best released yet! firemail lacks one big feature: Ability to add template tags to emails..

this would be very nice as a feature!

AND if you could integrate some user functions… like beeing able to send newsletters to user groups and customize emails with username etc.

THEN: beeing able to add categories and that users can manage their categories or change email adresses etc… newsletter user management…

AND it would be great beeing able to attach serialized data to emails. like coupon codes, excel lists with random data etc… much like serial letters in word, but for emails…

these are my needs for newsletters in general… I have to say that boomerang was very close to what my needs are… and it worked out of the box…
