New Extension: MX Tinybrowser (universal field for creating TinyMCE or/and MarkItUp textareas with TinyBrowser&LinkManager;support)

I’m having a strange problem with the standalone fieldtype. If I delete everything within my uploads directory the file manager pops up and allows me to browse to an image on my desktop. When I select an image and then click upload button the file manager goes blank. There are no on screen errors and no errors in the firebug console. Also firebug net tab shows all file are being loaded no 404 errors.

I can then x out the modal window. But from this point on the file manager will always open empty.

If I check the uploads directory and the image and a _thumbs directory are there.

The only way I can get the file manager to work again is to delete everything in the uploads directory.

The permissions on the uploads directory is 777.

I saw your posts about adding the .htaccess statements and they had no effect.

Opps… this was supposed to be added to the “New Extension: MX Tinybrowser fieldtype (Tinybrowser + TinyMCE” thread.

I’m not sure if it’s something I did or if it is a general issue with the latest version.

When using Quicksave, I loose the TinyMCE fields in the publish form

hello I am using the Tiny Browser and TinyMCE, not the standalone. It was working fine, the Tiny Browser popped up but after I added like 30 jpgs I now get blank white popup.

Also when it added the jpgs I noticed in the FTP it added _ at the end of the filenames, like 83_Petrollubebarrel.jpg_

Any ideas?

Ok I narrowed it down to some incompatibility with the MX tinybrowser standalone field using the latest FF Matrix in the Fieldframe, of those are enabled, I get the the blank screen, if I disable the FF matrix i dont get the blank screen

Any ideas?

Actually I take that back, when I disable the FF Matrix field it still gets the error.

Ok more on this, I deleted the Tinybrowser field and recreated it and was able to go to the entries but if I use Tinybrowser and open up and select an image for that field then it goes to a blank page.

I am also seeing the editor disappear after Quick Save. Any progress here?

Yea, what’s weird is that it was working, then it seemed to have stopped after I uploaded like 30 images.

I can confirm this issue. If you use TinyBrowser standalone and TinyBrowser + TinyMCE in the same matrix you cannot select images in the standalone.

Any luck on the empty page problem on the standalone?

I fix a couple issues including problems with matrix. I will fix it in new version.
