Still at 1.1.1 and still no lang file in the archive. I am downloading from the link in the very first post.

I just downloaded from the first post and there is definitely a lang file in there. Perhaps try from a different browser?

That must be your browser caching the old version.
Try with an empty cache or another browser.

Totally fab. Thanks Elwin. I’ve got a missing Edit Categories link issue too. But it doesn’t seem to be your fault. Again, great stuff.

sneers, I’m finding that the missing Edit Categories link happens with the extension - but eventually after the whole thing loads, the link magically shows up.

Found the problem, as posted here. Mark’s GeoCoding extension seems to be hurting the Edit Categories link.

I am finding an incompatibility between this (1.1.2) and Mark Huot’s Checkboxes extension. I can use one or the other but I get a blank entry page if I have both enabled.

I just tested but can’t replicate the problem here.
A blank page could be a memory issue though.

I’m using MAMP Pro at the moment..

Strange it all seems to work now!

Anyway, would it be possible to spread the categories over two columns?

For example some way of working out the total entries then splitting them in two?

Great extension, much more user friendly.
I found one little issue: working with WysiwygPro Editor somehow strange code is displayed in the toolbar: @nbsp@. It only happens in W IE7. I work with EE 1.6.2 full and Checkboxes 1.1.2. Firefox has no issue. When I disable Checkboxes then everything is OK. Category Checkboxes produces a javascript function (swap_categories(str)) that replaces ‘ ’ with ‘@nbsp@’. Maybe that has something to do with the problem.

Yup, the replacing of & nbsp ; with @nbsp@ is a workaround for a horrible Safari bug.
Could you PM me the browser source for that page in IE 7 ? (with the bug visible)

Maybe I should just add a quick Safari (WebKit) check and only do the replacing for WebKit browsers.

My Category Group Names are being swapped. The second and third group names in this screenshot have been exchanged. First group and last group are fine.
