Wow, Skymall is kinda like woot, but with more than one item. A bunch of crap I don’t want.

Well, the marshmallow shooter did look cool, but I’d probably put my eye out with that.

And looks like EE needs to start a “work from home” business for enterprising people who want to stuff mugs in boxes for a living.

I’ve got an ugly mug. I’m hoping to replace it.

So…. when can we expect to hear back that we Did 😊 or Didn’t 😠 get selected to try out the EE2.0 Beta?  Mugs and Ponies are fine, but I’d like some real details on Phase Two!

There was a tremendous response, and I promise you we’re working through them as quickly as we can.

Some how I had the idea this beta would be available Oct. 1, I guess cause it sounded good to me. Re-reading the post and it says applications are being accepted through Oct. 2 and the beta invites will go out sometime (x-days) thereafter.
So I’m up at 5am making salsa, and not toying w/beta-ware.

Just a few questions about the invitations:

1. How will the selected participants be notified/invited?
2. Everyone that was not selected, will they be notified also?
3. Will it take approximately 1 or 2 weeks before invitations go out?

Those that are accepted into the beta will be notified in due course:

Open until October 2nd, 3pm (PT). Invitations will start going out shortly thereafter (as in several days after).

October 2nd was the EERoadshow Friday, and there’s been a weekend in between, so please do be patient. =)

Only those who were accepted will be notified, there was a note about that on the screen following submission of the beta application.

Yep, I sent them out at about 11:30pm CST and many people responded in under a minute!
