I added some fields to a weblog and I get:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 491713 bytes) in /home2/londonweb/html/system/extensions/ext.lg_add_sitename.php on line 158

I disabled the extension and all seems ok now.

Any ideas?

Is this a bug or something funky I’m doing? My install is fairly stripped down.

I did have my server tech up the allowed memory size to 16mb

Thanks,

Jim

You need more memory, that should be all. Try again with 16MB now, you only had 8.

Hmmm didn’t catch that, maybe my server tech didn’t restart apache after he made the change.

Thanks,

Jim

I guess my bigger question is, why is the error triggered with the extension activated? And runs fine without it.

Because extensions need love memory, too? But then I don’t have too much experience with LG Add Sitename.
