Hop 404 Reporter has an install wizard that does this for new users. <https://hopstudios.com/software/hop_404_reporter>

I used the 404 Reporter earlier, but it produced too many logs. I assume this is due to the BOT crawling based on our event weekly URL segments structure.

When you see how many times a site’s 404 page is hit… it’s crazy. But I hear you on the log generation. Maybe we can address that in the next release

10k. If the bot keeps crawling our site using non-existent URLs, it will definitely return many hits of 404 page. We have had 10 to 20,000 logs.
