Some strange stuff going on with Live Preview on a site, brought to my attention by the client. Any attempt on any channel to use Preview in the CP results in the white screen with error message: The following errors were encountered
- You are not allowed to edit the entries you selected.
Permissions are all correct but the Preview does not work when logged in as the user or the Super Admin. I created a “clean” test channel but still the same. Checked Preview template path, all good. Checked user roles and all permissions, can;t find anything that looks off.
What version of EE?
It’s likely from this… in the next patch release, we’re hoping this is addressed, while remaining as tight (secure) as things are as a result of this change.

I’ll try that htaccess rule to see if it works.
Any shot your up for testing the patch we’e about to push out?

Cool will try it on a live test site. The issue does not seem to occur on local sites

Tom, just to double-check - that js file is new, is that correct? I don’t have a /src/ folder under javascript on this particular install

just to confirm themes/ee/asset/javascript/src/cp/publish/publish.js ?
Yes. The only files I have in the javascript folder is a compressed folder and an index.html
