I’m wondering if I’m missing something in the documentation regarding using Transcribe with Pro Search.
On an older site running EE 3.5.4 with Transcribe 2.2.2 and Low Search 5.0.5, I was able to add **transcribe=”disable” ** as a parameter in exp:low_search:results to pull the default entry content into the results instead of the translated version.
Now I’m working on an EE 7 site with Transcribe 3.13.4 and Pro Search, and I’m wondering if there’s a more modern or recommended way to accomplish the same thing. As this is no longer working. Or is there a way for Transcribe to ignore a channel completely?
Has the approach changed, or is there an equivalent parameter/workflow I should be using?
Thanks!
In a perfect world we would have other entries associated for the different languages, its just not how we built it back then. It was 1 product master entry that had pricing, images, titles and sku’s, we didn’t see the need to duplicate and manage that content across different languages. And transcribe=”disable” did the trick.
