Can you change order of Fields in Field Group?
How Do I?
Wasn’t there a native feature where: you could drag the order of fields in a Field group, and then on the entry itself, it would adjust the appearance of that field ? (w/o using a channel layout)
Do you mean, go to a field group, you can drag n drop fields into any order there?
yeah - I had some memory where such re-ordering would also affect how it’s shown in the Edit entry. @tomjaeger truth?

BUT a channel layout did already exist . I could see that throwing it off
channel layout will override it
you can just move it there.
Delete the channel layout and it’ll follow the field group order
