Any idea why the mailto doesn't work in latest 7.5.17?

Any idea why the mailto doesn’t work in latest 7.5.17 i tried the example from the doc :
{contact_email_address:mailto title="Email about their dog" subject="Question about your dog" encode="no"}
I changed the contact_email_address with my variable (early parsing and not) and the output is the tag itself..

So a quick test on newest version and it’s working
just to confirm.. is that an email field type?
No I used a variable stored in Pro Var..and or normal variable
Ah, yeah, that modifier is really designed for the email address field type
(thats why it’s not listed with the variable modifiers in the docs)
let me take a quick peek to see how hard it would be to make it more global
at the end i used {encode="{courriel<em>contact}?subject=Courriel%20du%20site%20Inter%20Ligna" title="{courriel</em>contact}"}
and it work.. not just as nice 😉
solid.. yeah I agree… not as nice.. but should work
