Save button on new entry fails to save
How Do I?
So, I am not sure if what I’ve got is a bug or something else is going on. Half the time that I hit the save button on a new entry, the page simply reloads, losing all progress. It is as if the target box for the save link doesn’t match the visual of the save button. I have no idea what could be causing something like this. My partner is seeing the same thing on his machine, we’re both running Chrome and the EE build is up-to-date.

Do you have a ton of channel fields?
Gut reaction is something is throwing an error. You might have to turn on logging into be bugging via config file catch it.

A ton of channel fields in total in the installation, yes. But not in this particular channel. And yes, it is the most recent version of EE. I’ll test to see if I can get anything logged.
Well, running into an issue with replicating the issue now. We’re off on vacation and I am on a laptop instead of my desktop, and I cannot reproduce the error. That makes me think even more that this is a rendering issue somehow, but very frustrating to not be able to test side-by-side for a good while.
Any chance you have that log running? If so I’d love to coordinate a way to get the the log file from you for a peek… Or if you see anything relative, it might be worth posting it here!
