Question re EE Roadmap

As of now obviously EE7 allows only one member before licence required. EE6 allows multiple members.

My question is this: what is the roadmap for this and what happens when EE8 arrives? Will the same schemata be applied - i.e. EE 8 = one member, EE7 switch to multiple members allowed?

Or will both remain one member only before licence required - effectively limiting free multi-membership to EE6 going forward?

I am asking this for a client who is a very small non-profit and does not see a time when they’ll be able to upgrade to a full licence but wants to stay with EE but not be stuck on EE6 permanently.

Anyone know what is planned in this regard?

Thanks for getting in touch about this.

We do offer free licenses to non-profits as well. I’d recommend having them fill out the free non-profit request form.

Thanks,

Cool Tom thanks.

I will get them to do it.

I’d still like to know whether the framework of current version = paid, one below free will be maintained going forward though.
