How Do I?
Hi,
How can I send out newsletters from EE? I would like have an automatic email sent out to all the members when a new entry is added to the blog. How can I set that up?

If you are looking for true newsletter functionality, I would recommend Hop Postmaster.
If you want to send something every time an entry is sent, you should look at Mail After Edit (disclosure: This one is mine)

Thanks for sharing! I don’t plan on using MailChimp so Hop Postmaster is definitely out of the picture. Does Mail After Edit have the ability to customize email templates? I would like to setup like a typical newsletter most websites send with their logo, image for the entry, entry title, excerpt of the body, etc.
It does, so you can use anything from the old or new entry.
Noted. I think I might take that route once I’m at the point to where I need to start sending out emails. Thanks for the help!
I recommend using an add-on like Postmaster or Freeform. Postmaster can automatically send emails to members whenever a new blog entry is added. You’ll configure it to trigger based on new entries and choose the email template to send. Chill Guy Clicker
