Transcribe multi-language how to optimize? Speedy caching work?

How Do I?

Does anyone have any experience with speeding up a “transcribe” site?

With no caching available, and some fairly heavy number of queries with a full page builder using fluid fields, field groups & structure.

I note the docs are a little out of date stating the third party “CE Cache” is a suggested caching method. I’m wondering if Boldminded “Speedy” addon might be compatible, anyone had any experience?

From a compilation answer in slack, mostly via Tom:

First, make sure you’re running the latest version of Transcribe as there have been significant performance improvements.

If so, Cloudflare has been successfully used by some (add two bypass caching rules (to avoid CP urls)) and Speedy has a lot of support as well.

With Speedy, check out Transcribe caching docs, and then:

Speedy should work if you set the key with the early parse order {transcribe:language_abbreviation} variable

key="{transcribe:language_abbreviation}_featured_item"

Or you could just use the url_prefix="{transcribe:language_abbreviation}" on the fragment tag and that would do the trick as well.
