Hi Everyone,

Having an issue with my site’s admin panel. If I use chrome, I don’t get any CSS. if I use firefox, I get CSS.

I have tried clearing my cache on chrome. Any idea as to what the cause could be?

I’m on the latest v7 of ee.

Thanks

You would need to check Site URL and can try by setting it from config file like “`$config[‘site_url’] = ‘http://siteurl’;

Just did a bit more troubleshooting, nad it actually seems to be caused by chrome reverting to https… when i change it to http it works

If you’re on https and loading resources with http, depending on settings, the browser will and should block the non-secure resources. The best thing to do is go all https- and make sure all of your resource links are consistent with that.

I’m having a similar issue. The site was working fine and then suddenly neither the admin page nor the site is linking to the CSS file. When I inspect the page I see the link to the CSS file is http: and if I change it in the inspector to https: everything is fine, but of course that is temporary. Is this something I can change in the config file (where?) or is this a host problem? There is a SSL cert, is that causing the issue?
