How Do I?

Does pro search have a method of adding a url to the index that’s not in a channel?

Say you had a template called ‘contact’ which has no channel data and you didn’t want to create a channel for it, just for search… I’d hoped I’d be able to make a shortcut for it… but that looks like it’s more to make human readable searches?

In discussion:

You can’t have pro search pull back the template with no data, but a good option is to create a ‘section’ or ‘index’ channel to hold the content you’d want to return the URL for, and index that in the search. It adds a little overhead, but gives you greater control. Worked great for a FAQ type section, for example.
