Clearing cache for a single page/url?
How Do I?
When an entry is saved\created, is there a way to clear cache not for the entire website, but just for selected urls? For example, just for this entry page, this entry comments page, sitemap, and a list of entries page.
I think EE caching will clear the cache for the entry being saved automatically, but not sure what else it will do - doubt it will clear other entries etc. at same time. For that kind of multiple application cache clearing you will need a caching system that supports rules based cache clearing (so you can set up an instruction to clear x and y and so on). For that right now I think your best (perhaps only) option is Speedy - which is BoldMinded’s (expensive) updated version of CE-Cache. There is also Rocket, which is much cheaper but I’m not sure how comprehensive the cache clearing rules are. Or you could write your own custom add-on. HTH 🐾
Thanks! Yeah, I think Speedy is the only choice here. BTW, with native caching there is only two choices on save: clear everything, or clear nothing
