Do Down Migrations run when you Uninstall an add-on

Does uninstalling an add-on run all of the down functions inside of a migration? And remove the migration?

Uninstalling an addon will run the down function in the add-on’s migration as long as you are extending the ExpressionEngine\Service\Addon\Installer class in your Upd file, and are running the parent uninstall() function.
