There seems to be a bug with EE 7. I thought perhaps it was because I needed to upgrade to latest EE7. Nope not that.

Here is the issue: On grid field, when adding the fields, there is no add button after you add the first one. Whatever field is select, you are stuck with those that the same type. There is no add button. Only has a clone/copy.

Ex: If input field is selected first, you are stuck with input fields. You will not be able to select a file field as an example (see pics). There is no add new field button like EE6. (see pic)

Note: On EE6, this is not an issue.

Is it a setting? Have I done something wrong?

Please Help.

Oh- I think I had 2 other folks run into this- it was a browser extension! In one case it was DuckDuck Go Privacy extension in Firefox. Not sure if it was the same in the other case.

But yes- check your browser extensions, might be something playing up.
