How Do I?
When hiding, collapsing or re-ordering channel fields (Channels > [desired channel] > Layouts) it doesn’t save the changes correctly. It hides or collapses seemingly random fields and not the ones selected with the Hide or Collapse checkboxes. Also, dragging and dropping fields within their current group or to other fields groups will also cause random ordering of other fields.

Are you still running in to this issue? If so as a first course of action, I would recommend upgrading to the most recent version of ExpressionEngine 7 (7.3.5).
If that doesn’t resolve it we’ll have to dig a bit deeper. It would be good to know what version of PHP and what extensions you have installed at that point!
