Hi,

I have just created 11 entries, but for some reason in 9 entries there isn’t a field ‘Page Content’. What am I dong wrong here?

TIA,

Claus

Hi Claus,

Please can you expand on this. It would be helpful to know the following:

  1. You channel/field structure.
  2. Your template code.

I have 11 channels and 5 fields (about, blog, common, contact, seo). I kept the fields from the Default Site.

Regarding the template code: I tried code for code blocks, but this didn’t work too well.:-( How can I post code excerpts with syntax highlighting here? I tried to attach a screenshot, but this didn’t work, either. What file formats are accepted here?

For formatting on this forum use Markdown:

There’s nothing particularly wrong with your code. Can you confirm that the Channel “einfuenrung” has the page_content field applied to it?

Yes.

Another thing: I have 11 entries, but when I click on ‘View All’, only 3 entries appear, and ‘einfuehrung’ is the default page. ‘Einfuehrung’ and ‘Biografie’ hava a content field, whereas ‘Aufnahmen’ has none.

Can I see where you are accessing this site - have you got a URL?

Hi seavers,

No, unfortunately not. I installed the website on my local XAMPP environment. There’s no connection to the internet. Meanwhile I deleted the default site in order to start anew. In fact, I not only deleted the default site, but the whole ExpressionEngine installation.

The issue has been solved. I found the option where one can select ‘Content’.
