Hi,
I’ve been looking at EE on and off and would like to know what people use for their local environment and deployment and what works best.
Currently, i’m using DDEV on WSL to install a local copy of craftCMS that then has a plugin which will push to production. I’m not very experienced but i’m not sure where to start with EE.
ExpressionEngine runs great on a lot of local environments (DDEV, Valet, MAMP, local LA/EMP stack, etc) https://docs.expressionengine.com/latest/installation/requirements.html#local-development ).
Personally, I run DDEV (as do a handful of other users). There are currently no add-ons that I know of which will automatically push a local environment into production. Most of us just have some sort of git workflow that’s connected to a deployment workflow (like Github actions, Beanstalk, etc).
You might be interested in our March EE Community Meetup. Randy Fay from DDEV will give a presentation on using DDEV with ExpressionEngine. You might get some answers to your question as well as learn some more in-depth features of DDEV.

Hello, I’m not sure if the following will satisfy you? but let’s play the game on duck life website.
I also don’t have much experience with EE, Palworld Breeding Calculator but I’m looking to learn it
When managing local and production environments, many recommend using Git for version control to keep code synced across different stages. Testing features in separate branches before deployment is also key. It’s a bit like managing a team in Retro Bowl - resources and prepping for the big game!
Hi David! For your local environment, DDEV sounds like a great choice! If you’re looking for something fun to take a break from coding you should play chiikawa puzzle. It’s a delightful way to enjoy some relaxing time with our favorite characters!
When handling local and production deer adventure environments, it is often advised to utilize Git for version control to maintain synchronization of code across various stages.
Hi David! It sounds like you have a solid setup with DDEV and CraftCMS. For ExpressionEngine (EE), I recommend checking out local development tools like Local by Flywheel or MAMP. They provide a user-friendly interface for managing your projects. Also, if you’re looking for a fun break, you might enjoy some sports games at Sports Games IO. Good luck with EE!
