There are some default categories set when creating a new entry in a channel. Can’t locate where that is being managed. Can anyone point me to where to go? This site has been upgraded over many years as new versions were released if that makes any diff.
I have crawled the docs, looked everywhere in the admin and nothing. Maybe I just overlooked something repeatedly.

Hi Rob, Thanks for the reply. The current value is “none’ yet multiple values were set on a new entry. If I set it to another category and save, the new value is the only one present on a new entry. Setting back to none and the previous set values I want to get rid of return again.
This appears to be a perplexing bug!
Hi @Robin, I recall one being installed a couple of versions ago but it was not supported and I removed it when we migrated to 5x or 6x. When I upgraded to 6 I manually reviewed the system/user/addons and theme/user directories and got rid of any unsupported add-ons. Double checked when I upgraded to 7 as well.
There is nothing present that is unaccounted for in the add-ons admin section.

Nothing in system/user/config/config.php No procedures/functions in the DB.
It’s a ghost.
