I’m having an issue where I’ve change the forgot password template to be a html template.

When I send the template it come through as plain html, even though I set the outgoing email to be html. Other system email seem to send as html but not this one.

If I install the add-on below this does fix the issue but in my case this brke something else so I can’t use.

https://github.com/cld-agency/ee-html-email

Is there an issue with the forgot password template not respecting the outgoing email mail format?

I tested on a fresh install using EE 7.2.5.

Thanks

I think you should go here: ?/cp/settings/email and change the email newline setting to \r\n

Thanks for the reply.

I have tried changing that value to ’ \r\n’ but the email is still sent as plain text.

Hrm, so definitely it sends other emails as html? If you look at the headers for the forgotten password one, is it saying it’s sent as plain text or html? Just trying to figure out where it goes wrong- code looks like if it works elsewhere, it should work there.

Generally, software development services can range from a few thousand dollars to hundreds of thousands of dollars, depending on the scope and complexity of the project. To obtain a more accurate estimate of the cost of software development services, it is best to consult with a software development expert from mlsdev.com/services/business-analysis
