Hello good day, I already tried to install an add-on from the /system/user/addons directory, but it does not recognize it, how can I install it, are permissions required?

If you are not superadmin, you need to have permission “Install or remove add-ons”

Otherwise, make sure the add-on supports your ExpressionEngine version and the folder structure is correct (there need to be a single folder that contains main add-on file and the folder name should match the add-on name)

Unzip the add-on’s contents after downloading it. The add-on’s folder should be uploaded to your system/user/addons folder. Once the add-on has been uploaded, you should be able to find it in the ExpressionEngine Control Panel’s Add-on Manager. After that, click install! Play kick the buddy.
