Display pro variable on entry page using pro_variables field type

How Do I?

I’ve created a grid variable and populated. This created a file in the _variables folder.

I’ve created a Pro Variables field and added to a channel. When creating an entry I selected the variable and saved the entry.

Adding the code below to the entry template will output the content of the variable.

{exp:pro_variables:pair var="advert"}
                <figure>
                    {advert:image}
                </figure>
{/exp:pro_variables:pair}

If I add the same code to the variable file in the _variable fold and add {display_ads:var} to the entry template the markup is output.

What I’m asking is if it’s possible to put the code in the variable page and have it displayed on an entry page.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks

Wayne.

Hi Wayne,

Thanks for getting in touch about this… I don’t think I follow what your looking to do 100%.

However it might be worth taking a peek at the following add-on

Thanks,
