Hi all. I’ve inherited an EE site and am just getting my head around it. From what I can see, page templates are stored in the codebase. All good. But it looks like channels - the only way to add custom fields to a template - are stored in the database. Am I correct in this and/or is there any way to store these within the codebase?

Many thanks for any help.

Pete.

Actually, page templates are usually stored as files and synced to the database. And yes, channels are stored in the database.
