SOLVED - Allow visitors to use search function
How Do I?
I have set up a simple search form and it all works fine when I am logged in - but when logged out, it says I don’t hve permission to search the site. I’ve tried a web search to see what I am doing wrong, but there is nothing relating to the latest version 6 of EE - they say to allow guests to use search but I cannot find that setting in the latest version. All the serarch templates have access enabled for everyone - so I am a bit stuck. Any ideas anyone?

In your Control Panel, Navigate to Roles -> Guests -> Website Access Tab
Then scroll down to “Access search utility” and toggle that setting on.
That should take care of it.

I’ve done a web search to find out what I’m doing wrong, but there is no information about the most recent version of EE. Allowing search for visitors is recommended in the documentation, but I’m not seeing it in the most recent version?
