Moving Entry From One Channel to Another
How Do I?
We currently have three channels and sometimes need to move an entry from one channel to another. But we only see one channel per entry in the editing area - other channels do not show. This is the case for every entry no matter which channel they were originally published under. So there is no option to select another channel for the entry.
Please note that we have tried the following troubleshooting solution below: https://docs.expressionengine.com/latest/troubleshooting/channels-and-entries.html#moving-entries-to-another-channel
but it does not apply to EE 6 and we have not been able to resolve this issue.

To move an entry from one channel to another, they need to share the same fields and also share the same category groups.
If two channels share the same fields, and the same category groups, the “channel” selector will allow you to move that entry between the two groups.
(It may also be affected by the author / member roles allowed to post, but I’m not sure about that)
