I was wondering if you guys can help.
Basically, I have a page that has comments at the bottom. What I am trying to set up, is that at the top of the page it shows how many comments have been made in total.
The issues I am running into here is trying to get the number to show no matter the tags I use: - {total_comments} - {total_results} - {absolute_results}
In order to get the values to show up, I have to contain them within the {exp:comment:entries} tag. But in doing so it repeatedly repeats the number of comments. For example, if I had 3 comments on the page it would show 3 3 3. However, when I use a limit in the comment entries tag such as 1, it would only count the 1 entry and not the total.
I’m not sure what I’m missing here, and I imagine there is a simple solution, which I can’t seem to find.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions or help you may have.
