When you go to a specific Role and deselect Author lists in “Include members in”
The setting is checked back again and does not take effect after saving. It added a role by mistake to the Author lists and cannot seem to remove it now.

@vw000 would you mind reporting the bug on GitHub instead? We are trying to keep all bugs and feature requests there
