I’m curious if the cookie add-on is now native to EE 6?

https://expressionengine.com/add-ons/cookie

Since it’s not listed as compatible, only up to EE 5.

I was planning on upgrading but just in case I decided to check the add-ons. Note this is an official add-on provided by Expression Engine, not a third party.

It may not be listed as such, but there is really no reason it shouldn’t. It doesn’t have any reliance on the new member system so it should be OK.

Thanks, I’m basing myself out of the official site that states only up to EE 5. Maybe they just forgot to update the page.

I’m not sure whether the add-on would work in v6 or not, but either way I would strongly recommend switching over to the Consent module, which is what replaced it. It’s completely native, part of core, and built for a more modern implementation of consent handling.

Here’s the info on the module, which handles all of the frontend tags you might need. And you can create and edit custom ‘consents’ in the control panel here.
