Greetings – I still am having comment trouble since the upgrade to EE4. It appears that my own “{if email ==” phrases no longer work in the comment:entries tag. In the latest documentation, that conditional is listed under comment:preview, but it does not show up as an option for comment:entries. Was this an oversight? It has worked for the last ten years – since EE1. Why is it no longer supported?

It seems that the comment tag is no longer supported in the comments section of the website. melon playground I have been using it for years, and it was great. I would like to know why it has been removed. I have tried looking for an answer on the website, but there is nothing to be found. Is it possible that the comment tag is being removed because it is not used anymore? Or is there a reason for it to be removed?
