I am in limbo on which way to go. I am creating a real estate website and either I categorized home types or use relationship field for tagging entries

Here is an example:

Residential - House - Duplex - Apartment

Commercial - Land - Building - Unit Space

When it comes to categorizing home types, it has the advantage of being straightforward, easy to understand, and can be used for filtering and searching.

I’ve been in a similar situation when building my real estate website. Here are a few thoughts that might help: When it comes to categorizing home types, it has the advantage of being straightforward, easy to understand, and can be used for filtering and searching. However, it does have the limitation of being less flexible if you want to add more specific tags or attributes later on. On the other hand, using relationship fields for tagging is highly flexible and allows you to add any number of tags to each entry. The downside is that it can get complex, especially if you have a large number of tags. My recommendation would be to start with categorizing home types, as it’s simpler to implement. You can always add relationship fields for tagging later on if you find you need more flexibility. I hope this helps!
