Single sign-in with Shibboleth

Hi. I work at the University of Nottingham leading the technical development for professional development e-learning. I am looking for a solution to our platform issue, and as a user of EE in my own projects, I feel that it could easily be used for our requirements.

However, most importantly, we have 10,000 members of staff that will need to be able to log into the site with their university staff credentials. We use Shibboleth in order to have a single sign-in across platforms which queries our central user database and then creates accounts automatically in Moodle, kaltura, etc…

Does EE have the ability to connect to Shibboleth or is there a third party plugin? I’m wondering if anyone could possibly assist me.
