Hi,
We are building a site for a client with multiple sub-domains…
We have two sites on our MSM build and there is no ‘Create New Site button’ when i ‘Click the name of your current site in the upper-right to open the Sites menu. Then select Edit Sites’ ……..as per the documentation.
I am under the impression that we are supposed to get 3 sites with an MSM build??
‘When the Multiple Site Manager expansion is added to an ExpressionEngine installation, it enables the software to power up to 3 MSM Sites. Follow these steps to add more Sites to your ExpressionEngine installation.’
That is an exceprt from https://docs.expressionengine.com/v2/cp/sites/additional_sites.html
Why is ExpressionEngine trying to make me pay for another installation? Or, am I missing something here? Is there another step not in their documentation?
Thanks in advance
Ok,
Found this http://expressionengine.stackexchange.com/questions/32626/multisite-create-new-site-button-not-appearing
Would be nice for EE to supply information on this and let you know that you’re supposed to download the full site, extract the /system/libraries/sites.php file and replace the existing one.
After purchase it just shows your purchases with no instruction.
HINT HINT EE Update your site to support MSM purchasers please
