moving subfolders to subdomains
How Do I?
i was wondering if there is solid documentation on moving ee subfolders to subdomains.
for example, i would like to change our ee site from:
www.domain.com/school-of-law/
www.domain.com/fun-times/
www.domain.com/clients/to:
school-of-law.domain.com
fun-times.domain.com
clients.domain.comi am new to expression engine and only know enough to get me in trouble. so any advice or guidance is much appreciated.

Is this a single copy of EE, or are you running multiple instances? That said, this is less an issue with EE rather than general server configuration: you’ll simply have to map a subdomain to a particular directory on your site. This is not too difficult, your host should be able to help you with that. As an example I am currently running EE on a subdomain beta.example.com, which really is example.com/beta (leaving the original site at www.example.com undisturbed while I prepare the relaunch.)
just so i’m clear, i already have my website configured for subfolders, i would like to reconfigure expression engine for subdomains.
you’re saying i’ll need to create a new virutalhost conf file for each subdomain to accomplish this?
