Grid Field Column Width

Hi

This maybe be a stupid question but i have create a grid field for my channel

There are 8 columns

I have added 100 rows

My issue is that i can only see 4 columns on my page at at time

So if i need to edit the 8th column on row 10 i have to scroll the whole way down to the bottom of the page then scroll to the right and then back up again

I have tried to set the column widths when creating the field like EE 2 but it ignores this value

On EE2 you could set widths as a percentage

Am i missing something?

Or is this the way it will work?
