Invalid selection, trying to upload a file w/ channel form
How Do I?
Hi,
Trying to upload a file through the use of a channel form.
I get the following error:
The form you submitted contained the following errors field_id_5: Invalid Selection Return to Previous Page
field_id_5: is the file I’m trying to upload…
Any suggestions?
I have been tooling around with this but still can’t get it to work.
Now I get the error field_id_5: is a required field or something… but field_id_5, the file being uploaded, is present (has been selected with the Browse button.
I went to my channel field options and made all the fields optional. The form is successfully submitted but the attachment doesn’t make it. The other fields on that channel all get published successfully.
Any ideas where to start?
Not sure if you have solved this, but I had this same problem in EE 3.0.6. Updating to 3.1.2 fixes this issue. They’ve mentioned in the change log that there was a bug fixed around this.
