License question
How Do I?
I’m doing a site for a local business… they already have a site but I do not control it.
To do the development on the new site I plan on registering a URL like abcCompanyDev.com but when I am done move all of that to abcCompany.com
If I buy the EE3 license & place it on abcCompanyDev.com, when I am ready to move the site is it a simple process to move the license to abcCompany.com?

I’ve one EE 2 license and I can change the Domain name and Company name in My Purchases Sections.
Agreed. Licenses can also be moved. You can even transfer ownership by contacting EllisLab. Example being that you wish to transfer the actual name and ownership of the license to the client in full. They would just have to have an account with EL to receive it.
