Reset Password URL redirects to site homepage

I am trying to get the password reset to work on a site. I have the forgot password page works and the user receives the email and there is a URL in the email as follows

http://speaker-contact-ee.dev/member/reset_password?&id=S7yyQMF0

But when you click on it you get redirected to the homepage

http://speaker-contact-ee.dev/

The reset form does exist in the member profile templates.

Any help would be great
