php fileinfo problems

I am having the file upload error even though everything looks to be correct.
Host has fileinfo enabled. My files are up to date. etc…
But I am still getting the error…
Fatal error: Call to undefined function EllisLab\ExpressionEngine\Library\Mime\finfo_open() in /home/yahtzeen/pleitch.com/donk3y/EllisLab/ExpressionEngine/Library/Mime/MimeType.php on line 117

Fixed it.
if you’re on dreamhost you need to add (or edit) a phprc file and include the following line.
extension = fileinfo.so
