EE3 DP3: Changing formatting for textarea field will always select 'None'

I tried to change the Text Formatting setting for an existing Textarea field in the field’s settings. For example, from
to xhtml. After saving, the option is set to ‘None’, and stays there, even after saving again. The value is updated correctly in the DB, tho.
