Site redirecting to homepage when I click a sub-page

Hello,

I’m having a strange error with my site that I can’t seem to find support for.

When I’m at my site, and i click on an article, the page should send me to /article-page/index.php template, which is correct and the URL path says so (http://site.com/index.php/article-page/looking-in-the-mirror-review (for example)) but when it pulls up, the home-page template is loaded with the images broken instead of my article page template.

I feel this is a server-side error, but do you guys know what the problem is? I’ve been at this for a few days now and beginning to think I may have to start over.

This all started when I was trying to remove the index.php but i have since reverted my changes, perhaps its something i missed?
