Problem with theme folder paths in WAMP on local machine...

Hey, guys/gals… I wonder if you could help me out.

I’m in the process of trying to really “take ownership” of an older site that I have and do some major overhauls on it (currently running EE 2.2.2 –I will upgrade that.). So, I want to use WAMP to run it locally on my machine. I’ve succeeded so far.

However, I am having difficulty in setting the new theme folder path –and I’m assuming I’ll have some problems with other paths as I get along a little further. I’ve read as much as I could find, and I’ve tried every deviation of syntax I can think of, but still no success.

I have WAMP set up on a P: drive on my computer. I have my website operating outside of my WAMP folder, though (p:/websites/localsitename), and I do have the host file and the httpd-vhosts.conf file set properly, and the site does run when I type http://localsitename.dev.

I guess that the local site was still using the online databases templates directly because I could access the templates before, but when I tried to put in the correct local path(p:/websites/localsitename/themes/ or something like that), I get nothing!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Regards, John

I think I may have found a solution via this thread: https://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/195156/

I’ll be back here soon if it doesn’t work.
