Discussion Forum not displaying
How Do I?
I’m new to using the Discussion Forum add-on for ExpressionEngine, and I’m having trouble getting the forums to display.
I’ve got the settings as below: > Forum Board Label: ‘Forum’ > Forum Board Short Name: ‘forum’ > Forum URL: http://www.{mydomainhere}.com/forum/ > Forum Triggering Word: ‘forum’
I’ve tried variations on this setup a few different times and cannot seem to get the native EE Forum templating engine to display.
I can utilize the {exp:forum} tag to show the forums in a template group, however it seem buggy, and I have lots of issues getting some of the screens to display (my account, user profile, member list, etc).
Installation Specs below: EE 2.10.1 Discussion Forum 3.1.19
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Just to be clear, my goal is to get the discussion forums to run in the native forum template engine, outside of EE’s template engine.
The ‘Forum Triggering Word’ doesn’t display the forums. In fact, it seems to have no effect anywhere. I’ve tried a variety of values here, and none seem to work?
Help?
