Building a Q&A site like Quora or SO. Possible with EE2?

Hi! I’m trying to build a small community site based on Q&A’s. I’m thinking along the lines of something like Quora or Stackoverflow.

My BIG question is: What kinds of limitations will I encounter with EE2 based on the feature sets for these sites?

I’m thinking I will be needing a lot of work on relationships. Working with AJAX features and JSON. Working on reputation points.

Any tips to move forward? Thanks!
