How Do I?

While its not my question, I’m experiencing this exact issue as per the link below after an upgrade from 2.9.2 to 2.10.1. Has anyone come across this? What can I do to fix this?

In my case, its an issue with having brackets in the filename. It throws an error saying:

An Error Was Encountered File /home/subdomains/site/resources/uploads/general/Information_Centre_(8).jpg does not exist.

I’ve found that if I manually rename a file from “Information_Centre_(8).jpg” to “Information_Centre_(8).jpg” through FTP, it will work.

I’ve then deleted the file from the entry, re-uploaded it afresh, saved, and the same thing happens.

EDIT: Well this editor seems to automatically convert “% 2 8” and “% 2 9” to “(” and “)” respectively. See screenshot below for exact error.

I’m having the exact same problem. Mine is showing itself with images that have space characters in the name. EE is using the entity for the space character, and it’s not matching the actual space character.

These images were added in a grid/file field with a previous version of EE. Started seeing this problem with EE 2.10.0, and 2.10.1 still has the issue.
